080 RS Podcast Kieslowski’s Colors – White

The second film in Kieslowski’s Three Colors Trilogy, White, isn’t as explicitly tragic as Blue, but is as full of pathos. We try to get to the heart of that anti-comedy on the latest episode of the Reel Spirituality Podcast.

Is the white/equality/anti-comedy motif just a gimmick, or are the ideas fleshed out with Kieslowski’s charicteristic cinematic flair? Does White tie into Blue, or are they stand-alone stories? Why is White considered the least of the three films? Listen in to find out.
