Last Fall, we partnered with Think Christian to do a ten-part discussion series on Krzysztof Kieslowski’s famous, tenepisode, Polish television series, The Decalogue. The Decalogue is widely considered to be one of the greatest achievements in the history of cinema and one of the most theologically rich cinematic artworks of all time. Our discussion was similarly rich.
In the spirit of that discussion, we’re going to spend the next three episodes of the Reel Spirituality Podcast talking about Kieslowski’s lauded film series, the Three Colors Trilogy. On this first episode, we’re talking Blue, the first film in the series and the saddest, as it deals with a woman griving the loss of her family in a car accident.
