President Labberton Appoints Joe Gallagher Interim Director

President Mark Labberton has appointed Joseph Gallagher as Interim Director of Fuller’s Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts. Joe has served as Senior Advisor to the Brehm Center for the past two years, following a long career in senior management in the entertainment industry. This follows the resignation of Founding Director Fred Davison. While celebrating Fred’s tremendous accomplishments, we look forward to the continued development of the Brehm Center under Joe’s leadership.

The appointment of Joe Gallagher brings significant strength and experience to Brehm Center in this time of transition. Joe’s wealth of experience in creative and organizational leadership includes tested insights into the issues surrounding transitions. We are encouraged by his willingness to serve in this role as we explore together the future of the Brehm Center. President Labberton and I continue to view Brehm Center as a vital, innovative part of Fuller’s mission.

Additionally, President Labberton convened an Interim Committee to discuss the critical aspects of the Executive Director’s job and the directions of the Brehm Center.  Building on the strong foundations of the past decade, we believe that as with the seminary the best days of the Center lie ahead.

Please join us in prayer for this time of challenge and renewal.

Yours faithfully,

Doug McConnell
