Martin Accad is based at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) in Beirut, Lebanon, where he founded and directs the Institute of Middle East Studies. He teaches on Islam, Middle-Eastern Christianity, and Christian-Muslim relations both at ABTS and at Fuller Seminary, where he serves as affiliate associate professor of Islamic studies. He is also cofounder of and senior fellow for the Middle East program of the recently launched Centre on Religion and Global Affairs. Dr. Accad has contributed many articles and chapters to international academic publications and is currently working on a book on Christian-Muslim relations.
