Are they idols or just trophies? Might they be both? Does any good come of pitting films against one another in a contest to determine which is the “best” of the year?
Those are all very interesting questions, but we don’t consider any of them on this week’s episode of the Reel Spirituality Podcast. Instead, co-directors Eugene Suen and Elijah Davidson go through the categories, discuss their favorites, and make a few guesses on which nominees might win a golden statuette.
Why do they do this intead of considering those weightier questions? Because sometimes it fun to just have fun.
