Advent
“Yearning and Promise” explores Advent and the expectant longing for the birth of Christ through cityscapes, wilderness, and water, with scriptures drawn from Isaiah 40 and Matthew 1.
Christmastide
“Fear and Glory” evokes the vulnerable hope of Christmastide and the virgin birth in the midst of a harsh but beautiful rainstorm, with scriptures drawn from Luke 2.
Epiphany
“Desire and Light” evokes Epiphany and the wise men’s celebration of the Incarnation through quiet cornfields of Iowa farmland, with scriptures drawn from Isaiah 60 and Matthew 2.
Lent
“Hunger and Healing” evokes the expectant lament of Lent through the arid landscapes of the Salton Sea and Imperial Sand Dunes, with scripture drawn from Isaiah 58.
Eastertide
“Death and Resurrection,” portraying the night before and the morning of the resurrection of Jesus, marks the beginning of the season of Eastertide. The scriptures are drawn from Matthew 27-28, John 19, and 1 Corinthians 15.
Pentecost
“Fire and Wind” contemplates the biblical event of pentecost that marks the beginning of the Christian church in the liturgical calendar. The scriptures in the video are drawn from the 2nd chapter of Acts in the New Testament.
Ordinary Time
Mystery and Love” acknowledges Ordinary Time—which we have chosen to share with the season of Pentecost—as a time for growth and maturing of the church.
