Evelyne Reisacher Lectures on Christian-Muslim Relations at Urbana 2015

On the morning of December 29, Fuller missiologist Evelyne Reisacher spoke to thousands of students at the 2015 Urbana Student Missions Conference. With decades of research and personal experience working with Muslims, Dr. Reisacher’s reflections were wise, compassionate, and much needed in a time when Christian-Muslim relations are fraught with fear and misunderstanding.

“What stories will you tell about Muslims,” she asked the crowd, “Stories of despair, like the ones we hear too often; or stories of hope in Jesus? I have made up my mind. Like the prophet Zachariah in the Bible I am a “prisoner of hope,” I am a “hostage of hope.” Listen to her lecture to hear more stories and hopeful insights on this important topic.
