Kieslowski’s Three Colors Trilogy comes to an affecting and surprising end in Red, the story of a young model and the strange old man she meets when she tries to return his run-away dog. This final entry in the lauded series both enlarges and enriches all that has come before. No wonder Roger Ebert called it, “The best among equals.”
