065 RS Podcast The Hundred Foot Journey and Boyhood

This week’s episode of the Reel Spirituality Podcast is a little differently structured. Instead of featuring one conversation for the entirety of the episode, we are featuring two different conversations about two different films.

In the first half of the show, Jessi Knippel joins Elijah Davidson to talk about The Hundred Foot Journey and her new article series, Something to Chew On. In the series, she is pairing a film about food with a recipe appropriate for the film. We’re also including a few discussion questions and additional resources for the movie. You might consider listening to this episode while making the food.

In the second half of the episode, Eugene Suen and Elijah Davidson discuss the most critically-praised film of the year, Boyhood, and that ebullient crticial esteem.

The theme music for our podcast is provided by Matt Lumpkin, whose music can be found here. If you are interested in subscribing to the Reel Spirituality podcast, follow this link.
